As part of the Life Natur project 'Wälder und Waldwiesentäler bei Iphofen,' the former common grazing area near Hellmitzheim was restored and has since been grazed year-round by cattle and deer. The goal is the establishment of an oak pasture forest as a habitat, especially for birds.
