Dietrichsroda 16, 06632 Balgstädt, Sachsen-Anhalt19.6 ha of agroforestry area established in December 2025 as part of the Klim-Agrar-Gehölze research project in collaboration with the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development. Various varieties of chestnut, walnut, and mulberry trees are being tested, as well as different cultivation methods (bare-root, container-grown, air pruning). The site is set up as a randomized block trial. The wooded strips are to be grazed (dairy cattle). Funded by the German Federal Environmental Foundation.
