Wendland Ziege GbR in Clenze-Bausen, Lower Saxony, is a Bioland-certified farm with around 80 dairy goats plus their offspring, which Veronika and Sören Obermayer have been running sustainably since taking over the farm in 2019. The farm includes arable and permanent grassland, operates a mother-bonded calf rearing system, has its own on-site cheese dairy, and was awarded the Federal Organic Farming Prize in 2026.

In May 2024, Lignovis GmbH planted a silvopastoral agroforestry system on 6.5 hectares with 1,127 poplars and willows (with a woodland area of 0.4 ha). The trees are mainly intended to be used as fodder leaves for the dairy goats and to protect the arable land from wind erosion; later use of the wood as a material is also considered interesting.

The installation was carried out as part of the FuLaWi research project and is professionally supported by the project partners (https://futterlaub.de).

The products – various types of goat cheese, yogurt, and other dairy products – are sold directly through the farm shop and a nearby weekly market.
