Dynamischer Agroforst (DAF) in der Gärtnerei

Lat: 8.282608, Lng: 50.104344
Naturefund e.V.
Karl-Glässing-Straße 5, 65183 Wiesbaden, Hessen

Naturefund, in collaboration with the perennial nursery Plantamé, has planted various trees on the nursery’s grounds. The goal is to make cultivation more sustainable and climate-resilient, and above all to provide protection against erosion, build up humus, increase biodiversity and crop yields, and improve water retention in the soil. Four strips of trees, including a double row, were planted in various areas of the nursery. The land was otherwise difficult to use because it is located on a slope. A nature trail to DAF, a mobile chicken coop, and a sheep pen have been set up to make good use of the area. Naturefund finances agroforestry projects and also supports numerous other projects aimed at protecting nature.
