At a small family-run vineyard near Bensheim, Naturefund and Hajo & Pitt, together with the local high school, planted trees. The vineyard has transitioned to organic farming and had already planted various standard-tree varieties. The goal is to build greater resilience to drought and to generate a more diverse harvest. In addition, the use of pesticides is to be minimized, and the vineyard is intended to be a place that helps inspire people to embrace agroforestry.
