In spring 2025, Der Gänsepeter planted four double rows of hybrid poplars and one row of shade-tolerant valuable timber trees on a pasture for fattening geese.

Since 2025, Der Gänsepeter has been a cooperation partner of the Agroforestry Real-World Laboratory in the TransRegINT project at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. As a practical partner, he supports research into the behavior of fattening geese in agroforestry systems and effective protection against browsing.
