The fast-growing poplars were planted in the chicken runs of the two newly acquired mobile coops at the organic egg-laying farm. The goal was to provide the chickens with shelter from the start and to make the coops, which are located near the village, more attractive. There was also some concern about birds of prey. The poplars are to be harvested every 5–8 years and then used as energy wood. The photo shows the inauguration of the coop on open house day.
